asside from this complaint i'm fairly happy with this formation, any word on the subs yet? Kewell in there?

He's bad enough up front - when he decides not bottle it once in a blue moon and get that far forward - but on the right he's a disaster. Poor control, poor crossing, no pace whatsoever. At least he'll be able to foul Clichy though eh?

We`ll be switching from 4-4-2 to 4-3-3 thruoghout the game with Kuyt and Voronin switching.
Arsenil won`t know who to mark.If our players have learned how to pass a ball this week we should give them hell today.

Could be worse mate, that formation can very easily be a 4-3-3 and no ones out of position then.

If he goes 4-4-2, i'd imagine it's stevie on the right which is not a big problem and Voronin on the left which i'm not too fussed about, but who else have we got to play there.

It could be a straight 4-3-3 line up

or a 4-3-2-1 line up

i think there must have been an upset, either that or rafa knows we play to many long balls when he's on, we usually don't move the ball very well once he is on, hyypia and carra usually hoof the ball up the middle every chance they get, and with crouch being a poors header of the ball we can't have that

I can accept that, we do tend to launch it long when Crouch plays, and so it may be a better option towards the end of the game. Hate to keep on slagging Hyypia but it annoys me the way he just launches it upfield everytime he gets it and we end up losing it, compared to the more cultured Agger who will bring the ball out of defence.

Crouch and Torres would really get after them.

Instead it'll probably be Torres on his own supported by Voronin and Kuyt. Far less daunting.

if he is playing 4-3-3, then he isn't playing anyone out of position, gerrard pushing more attacking wise whilst masch and alonso hold, with 3 attacking players running around the defence with gerrard having plenty of options...

if how ever we are playing 442 with voronin on the left, i will share your concerns...

but for now i'm up beat, i think we're going to win, i think it's our time...
