For the life of me i dont get

Why Crouch isnt getting more game time than Kuyt and Voronin.
He played 45 minutes today, managed to create a few chances for himself as well as bring others in to play ie Gerrard when Gallas made that block near the end.
The bottom line is he's a threat and must start playing more often.
    It's a ****ing joke.

well, I think he has been poor when he has played most of the time this season, but today he looked hungry, focused and determined. If we could see that sort of consistency from Crouch then he would be an even more effective weapon.

I think we have to use him more effectively. Arsenal backed off towards the end and allowed us to win the first ball but its really important that we win the second balls if we play him. Pennant would have been better to play if Crouch was to start but he's injured. Babel could cross but is more direct and Benayoun can give a decent ball or two

Nothing more needs to be said. End of. It's been obvious for ages but the Crouch/Rafa thing obviously has little to do with football. With Torres out of the equation, he's our best striker. No debate.

he must play, starting with Cardiff in midweek, to shake the cobwebs off, ready for b'burn next week

It's obvious but I don't think it'll happen. Crouch is being snubbed/marginalised...whatever you wanna call it, and is obviously being readied for the exit door - which is an absolute joke of epic proportions when you consider the other two.

I think Rafa is planning a future without Crouch - which is fine if you have better options...but Torres aside, we don't.

I'd give Babel a run out upfront ahead of Kuyt and Voronin.

I wouldn't be bothered if I never saw Voronin in a red shirt ever again.
Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

I think the pressure on Rafa is too great now for him to not play, he can't go with Voronin and Kuyt until Torres is ready to play, that would just make his rotation policy out to be complete ****.

It's unfortunate we don't have anyone in the reserves who is capable of making the step up yet, but with the iminent return of Kewell and him being tried out as a second striker it could be a sign of things to come. (Not that i;d be happy with him there mind, much rather prefer him on the wing, but Rafa seems to be a square pegs round holes type of guy

I've always tried to see the positives with our players but in seasons past, I've backed players that deep down aren't good enough and I'm bored of it.

We need to clear the dead wood and get some players who are good enough.
