The Parry and Moores appreciation Thread

I know this thread comes a bit late but I just wanted to publically congratulate our Chairman (his board) and the chief executive for the fantastic summer we've had followed by the announcement on the lease for the new stadium.
It's great news all round, they've answered a lot of criticisms this summer and I for one would like to applaud their achievemnets.
First of all the summer's transfers, fully backed by Moores even though we lost the possibility of raising some cash when Cisse got injured. Parry negotiated great deals for all the players in my opinion including Pennant, but that remains to be proven.
Secondly the lease of the area of Stanley Park being secured for the new ground. At last we have some positive movement on this issue, at last it seems the stadium will be built.
They have both take a huge amount of stick over the past few seasons, they may not have secured any new investment (they may still announce that) but like the Milkman, they have delivered and have done it in a quiet unassuming manner.
    Great work lads

Aye top post G Man although I'll reserve judgement on ths new stadium until the bulldozers move in.

The club shop and ticket office are still a bloody disgrace though.

Read the title and thought this'll be a short thread

Then read the date of the first post...
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I thought it was a hilarious bump myself
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                              Mine angry and defrauded young?
