conceded 3 piss goals in a single game, our defence is a total farked up now. Agger should replace Hyypia and Dudek for Reina.
One of the main weakness in our team is the lack of pace in defence, usually they made that up with nice anticipation and interception but now those are gone as well.

well to be honest, hyypia was just plain poor, carra was not on point, and what a howler from him, and poor reina what more can i say, finnan was the only one who played decent...

we're just not good, or atleast not yet we still havent played a good game and we were not ready for everton's fighting spirit, psv and chelski next and i fear the worst. bottom 3 in a few weeks might be reality...

we were not up to the task today, and we deserved to get battered, even tough we should have had 2 penalties, and hit the post twice, lets hope this is the wake up call we need...

i don't think going forward we were that bad- ones of those days where it won't go in.

but when you're chasing 2 goals after defending like that it makes it even more frustrating.

i don't think it was the team selection, tatics or the subs.

they created absolutely nothing and yet came away with 3 goals.

individual errors like that are unforgiveable.

while all the whole back 4 were drawn across for the first, finnan allowed leon osman to out muscle him.

carra and sami dithered for the second- neither took charge of the situation.

and the less said about the 3rd the better

Carragher shouldn’t have started this game imo, I don’t think he was ready after his injury and it showed today. Alonso was lost in midfield and he’s continued his poor early season form.

We should have started with Kuyt rather than Crouch. And Rafa should at least have had Bellamy on the bench.

alonso should play in reserves and build his match fitness again, he has been piss poor this season, even zenden is ahead of him in central midfield position

don't agree with the dude replacing reina tough, reina is twice the keeper he is, i feel sorry for the lad, he just paniced and lost his head for a moment, we all remember the howlers the dude had...

Nah Carra shouldn't have started, sometimes that gamble pays off, today it didn't.

Would have started with Crouch myself really, he's been in good form recently.

When fit, Warnock has to play at LB ahead of Aurelio, that lad's going to take some time to get it right here from current showings. Atleast one of Kuyt or Bellamy should play at all times and as Alonso badly needs a break it has to be Gerrard/Sissoko in the middle with Pennant given a run of games on the right. We have plenty of possibilities but far too few probabilities at the moment, we need a settled team, and fast

Last season our Defence was the reason we finished 3rd. All the cleansheets. Our midfield dominated every opposition. We only lacked quality upfront. We now have the quality upfront and on the wings but our defence and midfield is killing us. The joys of being an LFC fan!!!

to be honest i have never fancy Reina because he has no "presence" in the box mainly due to the fact that he is not very tall, for a keeper.
