yes the season before last I found that the best policy. On Mothers Day we went the local for dinner and the bar man is blue - he started something and I said "Well done lad, we won't catch you now, you've done well" I have never seen anyone so speechless in all my life.

That was bad today though because for long periods of the first half we were out fought by them! The only chance I can remember in the first half for us was the Garcia shot that Howard tipped in to Stevie's path only for him to hit the post! We should have been up and at them from that start but we weren't and that's pretty bad. Hopefully this serves as a good kick up thearse and we improve in the coming weeks!

Did you think so? I think overall the scoreline grossly flattered them. Three horrendous defensive errors yes, too many passengers were carried yes, and our best player nullified by parking him in right midfield despite having a rested 7million quid winger on the bench, just so as to accomodate a player who is clearly bang out of form at the moment.

But despite that, we had vastly more shots than they did and I wouldn't say we were necessarily the worst team.

Not great, not deserving to win, but I think the differences between the teams were the respective back fours and the keepers. As in ours let us down and theirs didn't.
