    Sergio Ramos

Liverpool and Spurs battle it out over Madrid's Sergio Ramos !?!?!?

It has today been reported that Tottenham and Liverpool are going to make a move for Real Madrid centre-half Segio Ramos in the upcoming January transfer window.

The Spaniard has performed consistently well for the La Liga side and played a huge roll in last years league title success as well as featuring regularly for his national side, but it has been rumoured recently that the young galactico is unhappy at his current club.

It is quite clear that with Spurs' poor defensive record in their games this season new personnel are required in the back line at White Hart Lane. However with the Spanish connection at Liverpool with both players and manager, it is felt that the versatile defender would be more at home on Mersyside.

Because of the 21 year olds great talent it is said that Madrid will not let him go for anything less than €18 million. The possible arrival of the Spaniard at Anfield in January would almost certainly see the way out for Liverpool veteran Sami Hyypia.

Probably a another made up rumour.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Why on earth would Ramos leave Madrid?

He's one of the best young defenders in Europe playing for one of the biggest team in the world.

And he's going to give that up to play for Spurs?

If this happens in January I'll eat not one but two hamsters.
A humble guy with healthy desire.

I can see a small chance of him joining us but Spurs, now that's laughable

apart from that, I don't know.

I can understand if Rafa want him. He can play as a right wing back and central defender so he would take over from Finnan short term and from Carra long term. He has also played left back but not that many times.

Maybe Real will sign Alves and that means that Ramos would lose his place.
