I always think of him as the Spanish Micah Richards, although obviously the physical attributes are replaced by technical attributes:
- Can play CB and RB
- Contributes to attack
- Major threat on set-pieces
.
.
.
- Young and very very promising
Anyways, there is no chance Real Madrid will sell him. Especially not for 18M Euros, which is a lot less than what they paid.

Ramos is as physical as Richards. He may be a tad slower but he's increadibly strong and he never stops running. He is often compared to a freak by Spanish fans. He runs almost as much as players like Sissoko and Zapater.Originally posted by keniget View PostI always think of him as the Spanish Micah Richards, although obviously the physical attributes are replaced by technical attributes:

He's heading ability from corners/free kicks would also be fantastic
Too bad we'll never sign him.

Who knows what will happen if Real sign Alves. I think that is the key if Ramos will stay or not. Real have Metzelder, Cannavaro and Pepe in the middle. Ramos now plays on the right for Real when the other central defenders are fit. He played in the middle in the last game.Originally posted by Zapater View PostRamos is as physical as Richards. Cannavaro can be on the way back to Italy but that still leaves Metzelder and Pepe as first choice central defenders. Add that Ezequiel Garay probably will sign for Real and there is no place for Ramos if Alves signs.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

They love him there at Madrid. He cost the earth, even if they did buy Alves they'd slot him in at centre back, maybe even as a defensive midfielder when needed. (A lot of them don't rate Diarra and Gago) They know how good he is and they don't need the money so I can't see why they'd sell one of their top players who's only going to get better.Originally posted by AFII View PostWho knows what will happen if Real sign Alves. He's not homegrown i.e through their Cantera, he's from Andalusia and played for Sevilla before.Originally posted by Frodo View PostI'd love it if we signed him, but unfortunately can't see it, he's at THE top club and he's 'home grown'.
Canavaro would be a quality signing too, if Madrid were selling.
