I think we would have won it if Houllier had not come back when he did.

Thommo was doing a great job for us at the time.

Er I dunno about that at OT mate, I hate the scum as much as the next man but that was a typically sterile performance from our lads and the game had 0-0 written all over it from a long way out. Of course, United always gubb us in games like that.

The game we dicked them was at Anfield come to think of it and John O'Shea scored for another Manc robbery, that's probably the one you're thinking of.

If there's any such thing as Karma those scum *******s are getting two defeats this year, one spawnier than the last I hope.

Hand on heart I don't think we've been good enough to win the league in the last decade. At no time would I say we were ever the best team in the country. We've been close, particulary under Uncle Roy but we've always been just that little bit short. With Evans' team our defence was always our achilles heel. With GH we were never free scoring enough.

same with Rafa's teams, goal scoring is our problem.

Oh no he didn't, we were 5 points clear by December when Thommo was in charge. Then Houllier came back

Thommo as next manager if Benitez is sacked or leaves, no?

I think Carragher would be a better manager. He shows more drive, more knowledge outside of the game, he is tactically astute, a boy from the block per se and he is a Red through and through

Has anyone got our complete records since the formation of the Premier League. By this i mean the position / wins / draws / losses / total points for each of the seasons?

                              Would be interesting to compare.

p.s. we should have been champions in both the 1996 & 2002
