Why steady on.Originally posted by SCarter View PostSteady On
Real would probably pay £70m, £80m or maybe even £90m to get him.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

You'll get away with that one only because it looks like he is happy at Arsenal. If he left he would certainly command a fee of more than £30M, unless his contract was running out.Originally posted by DKdan View Post
If Fabregas commands a fee of more then £30M within the next 12 months, I will happily tattoo "SWEDEN RULES" on my arse. But that is not gonna happen!Never knowingly optimistic

they where willing to pay 80 m euros for kaka, no way they would have paid as much for fabregas, and no way they would have paid 80m £ even for kaka, that is just to much money...Originally posted by AFII View PostWhy steady on.

but then again, they did make a profit of 85 m euros last year alone..."I have decided to escape, to defy the shogun. Today I will begin walking the road to hell. But you will choose your own path. So… come boy, choose life or death."

See I can just about get behind your first statement in that Arsenal clearly don't want to sell, don't need the cash and Fabregas wants to stay so to buy him it would require a ludicrous bid. However in comparison to other talent about he is probably worth around £30m as he is undoubtedly one of teh best midfielders around and is so young. But seriously when was the last transfer of even that value? Let alone the £70m+ you talk about here which has never happened, ever.Originally posted by AFII View PostWhy steady on.

He's got a contract until the year 2050 or something hasn't he?
Barca have already said they'd like him, but only if he made all the effort to come after leaving them in the first place. He probably won't, so that only leaves Real Madrid being able to pay the sort of money it would require to get him.
I don't think he'll be leaving in the near future anyways. Arsenal have the makings of a very good side and it's built around him. Why would he leave?

Real paid €30m for Pepe and he isn't anything special.Originally posted by dww View PostSee I can just about get behind your first statement in that Arsenal clearly don't want to sell, don't need the cash and Fabregas wants to stay so to buy him it would require a ludicrous bid. If Real want him then they will be forced to pay a new world record fee by a mile but that's my opinion.
Fabregas is one already one of the best players in the world and he will get even better. You would also have count in how much his image right would be worth in Spain.
They would sell millions of shirts with Fabregas name on the back of it for example. Real would get back their money after a few years without any problem.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
