I'd snap Henry up in a heartbeat if he somewhow became unwanted at Barca.

Also, based on your sig, The Erectile Banana needs to break out the salt and pepper
I eagerly await Janaury with a knife and fork in hand and hope in my heart that he'll never sign for Spurs, he'll never sign for Spurs.

I'd take Henry in a heartbeat though.

            Agree.

No way he leaves after 6 months.

Next summer - if things still haven't worked out, though I've yet to see any evidence they aren't or won't - then he'd be a great signing.

After years of signing mediocres like Baros and Heskey, and outright ****e like Kuyt and Cisse - all for big money it should be noted - to finally bring in some proven class who you know is proven in this league is simply a no-brainer.

Anyone who wouldn't have him because he's over 30 is absolutely barking. Forget his age. He could help us win the league. You ****ing buy him. End of discussion.

at a drop of a hat, still world class, still better than most of our strikers and would complement Torres perfectly.

maybe he wanted to leave arsenal for us, but didn't feel comfortable doing a stright move or the club wouldn't let him, so he decided to move to an interim team. I know, highly unlikely and what would be the big attraction with us over arsenal and barca, but stranger things have hapened i suppose

If I were Rafa and became aware that he was available, I'd do ANYTHING to sign him. If Crouch is sold for 9-10M, that'd more or less cover it anyways.

It's a bit of a moot point however, as it's a load of bollocks and Henry will never come to us.

If he was to come back to the prem, we would be the ONLY team he'd even contemplate!

He went to Barca for £16m so less than the combined fee we paid for Kuyt and Crouch. He would score more goals than those two combined though. Although his resale value would drop like a stone because of his age, if we could get him for £14m - £16m it would still be good business for us.

                            What about Arsenal?

Would you like him to sign for us?

                              Or is he past it?
Would be a total waste of money. He'd cost at least £15m - would want top dollar wages and given he's nearly 30, there would be almost no re-sale value.

He is or was a great player, but now has the ego to match. Not sure he's ever going to recover from his injuries over the last year.

We need to be investing in the likes of Henry, Messi Ronaldo etc when they're early 20s not nearly 30 and possibly past their peak. That means spending top dollar or sorting out the youth scouting system to spot them early.

Wenger, Barce, Real Milan all do it, why don't we?

In short - no way should we go for him. We'd have to outbid everyone else in fee and wages
