You don't know what kind of dubious tactics these lower leageu clubs might employ
Let's give Robbie the respect he is due and field some star players.

          Exactly. Couldnt be more true

Looks like Rafa is worried about being out of both the champions league and the league title race before long and is thinking of the cup double

and what kind of **** ref you get. The last one was rubbish and almost allowed the players to get away with murder.

If Carra gets injured then we won't have any chance at all against a team like Blackburn.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

you expected any different, given our current injury situaion i fully expected both to play. Carra is fine, he'll get his break when the internationals gome up. Stevie prob wouldn't have played if alonso, sissoko and masch weren't all injured/sick

Hyypia and Hobbs against Blackburn can you see them taking care of players like McCarthy and Santa Cruz?

Crouch and Babel vs Voronin and Kuyt.

                        There really is no contest.

Jack Hobbs will go head-to-head with Robbie Fowler tonight in his first competitive start for Liverpool.

Id imaging this will be the set up

                              Itandje
                              Arbeloa Carra Hobbs Aurelio
                              El Zhar Lucas Gerrard Leto
                              Babel Crouch

Although el Zhar and babel could switch
