I'm absoultely thrilled that Xabi could be back so quick - but I'm wondering the exact same thing.

Anyone know anything about why the nature of his injury seemingly changed ?

I know nothing about medicine but guessing the fracture wasnt as bad as could have been. Hopefully when the swelling went down they found out it wasnt to bad.

Agger wont be back in 2 weeks according to Molby. He sounded very pessimistic about Agger last night
“Hicks could have purchased Dallas’ MLS franchise but decided not to. ‘In hindsight, I probably made the wrong decision,’ he said.“.

All this 2 weeks business is pointless anyway as I've said before Rafa isn't go throw them into the Fulham match before the international break, so there's at least 3-4weeks for them to recover. I could see Torres and Agger maybe being ready by then, but I'd be surprised if Alonso was back. Just watching the press conference from earlier today, Rafa didn't seem sure on the Alonso situation at all. He was saying that the surgeons needed to talk with the clubs doctors, so we might get a better idea in the next few days.

Fingers crossed- but it does seem well odd & we shouldnt rush him back, no matter how important he (undoubtedly) is.
                3rd place. Worst champions ever.
