you don't think the possibility of being 9 points behind the leaders leaves us with an incredibly difficult job, it's not the end of the world but it's the end of our title chances imo, lets face facts we only drew with chelsea and arsenal at home, what are the chances of cgoing their places and winning, it's not happened for us yet under Rafa. As for the mancs well we'll see about that in december. The thing is after you've drawn the amount of games we have recently, we need to get some wins together now, and beating teams like blackburn should be well within our abilities, if it's not then I have few hopes for us getting results against other similar level teamsThomas Hicks Senior

Roflcopter @ you guys thinking the scum are going to take it this season.
ANYONE who makes it past Arsenal will win it, but it wont be Manure. Christ lads, its September, were going through our worst spell of the season and were out of it?
Manu are on a run of form, and the media are creaming themsleves over them as they always do. The title is not decided before Christmas lads...
If we go out of the European cup (god forbid, but its looking on the cards), well be in a prime position to take this league....this is the best liverpool side in the league ive seen since 96. Stop overeacting and get behind the lads... have faith

so in other wordsOriginally posted by desertscouser View PostOf course it's 'not over' if we lose tomorrow. Mathematically we can lose the next few games in a row and still win the premiership. But let's be honest, if we lose tomorrow it will be further proof that we're a long way away from winning the premiership.
We not only have to win tomorrow but we have to put in a performance worthy of a top side. For the most part we've been ****e this season. That is the reality.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I agree and while it is only 3 points, it's the confidence that we'll get by winning away from home against a good side. We've looked a bit better the last 2 matches and Stevie seems to be running into a bit of form so I feel it's crucial to get the win.Originally posted by Morphorino View PostI think it's a very important game given the mancs v arse tomorrow, someones dropping points what ever way you look at it, the only problem is, when an oportunity like this presents itself, we usually **** it up. For me anything less than a win and we're leaving a very difficult job for ourselves
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.
