I can't see the benefit in it, tbh.Originally posted by Kilteragh View PostGood last twenty mins. Blackburn are no mugs.
You can see the benefit of what Rafa is trying to do with the rotation by keeping players fresh.
Unfortunately we do not have enough quality beyond our first eleven to make it count.
IMO the main problem is that Rafa does not know what his best eleven is.

I like you, you've cheered me up!Originally posted by Gazzla View PostA draw at Blackburn is not a bad result especially as we were without Agger, Alsonso & Torres and we are still only 6 points off the top with a game in hand on most. Look on the positive side chaps

No but a bit of perspective here, Blackburn away is a hard game. Admittedly we played ****e but we are not gonna win every game and play football like Arsenal throughout the season. A good point in my opinionOriginally posted by DJS View Post

Harry Kewell. Proper player. Aggresive, attacked and beat his man, and always showed for the ball. Babel take note.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Agree with that.Originally posted by Red_Al_77 View PostWe need to be positive for 90mins not 20mins. Football isn't Chess Rafa. This tactical ****e is killing us. Blackburn were there for the taking and were poor.

People keep saying we're not doing too badly because we're not losing.
But we have played 11 matches and drawn six ffs.
That's not good enough for a team with our aspirations.A humble guy with healthy desire.

No we aren't. You have to look at each match on its own merits. If we had beaten Spurs, Portsmouth and Brum no one would be complaining about an away point against Blackburn.
It's called being balanced. You can agree with me, or you can be wrong.

missed the game, and by the sounds of it i didnt miss much. rafa has a good track record of shipping out players that haven't worked out, so hopefully he ships out the deadwood (again) soon. although being a long term target for us and a 10mil striker, kuyt shouldnt be this ****ing crap.“At a football club, there’s a holy trinity - the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don’t come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques”. Bill Shankly
