Come on people. This takes time.
Rafa is not perfect. But he is still a genius, and one of the very best in the world.
Just remember. Ferguson did not win ANYTHING in the first 4 years and not the league until 6 years. And allot of people wanted to sack him.
Rafa deserves more time, so for me this in not even an issue.

The squad this season is a lot better than last. If we don't improve on last season's showing (68 pts is pretty poor if you ask me, but he got away with it because we got to the CL Final) then I think Rafa needs to be accountable. Not suggesting that he should be sacked though but no doubt the board will have qns to ask and he will have to explain himself and the direction he's taking the club.Originally posted by tomasjj View PostRafa should be given this season and the next.
If we aren't seriously challenging for the title by then, then questions can be asked.White liquid in a bottle = Milk

Shaggy in sensible post shockerOriginally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostMy patience and faith is close to breaking point, but I love Rafa and so I'm finding the whole thing rather difficult.
To sack him now would be ludicrous, although I can understand people who've made up their mind about him. Give him until May.
If, by then, things are still as bad then........
........it's got to stop and we'll need to replace him.
I will always, always love him for May 25, 2005.

Then we would also have a better view if his huge youth project is good enough.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I can't believe it's come to the point where LOTS of Reds have turned against Rafa. I never thought I'd see the day.Originally posted by paulcooper4 View Postcome to what? A gang of internet managers calling for rafas had cos were playing ****e for a bit?

I can't believe it's come to the point where we're playing such consistently rubbish football.
I can't believe Rafa hasn't nailed it and taken us as far as I thought he would. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

No need to shout.Originally posted by paulcooper4 View PostWERE NOT EVEN HALF WAY THROUGH THE SEASON
I know we're not, but whether we're "not even halfway through the season yet" or not, a lot of Reds have turned. Fact.
There's time to turn it round but the signs aren't good.
I don't want Rafa out, but the tide is turning and it'll take a top effort from Rafa to get us back to playing the sort of football we know we can.
I know you're the eternal optimist but you can't keep defending this. We've got problems. Surely you can acknowledge that. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
