Nope. But I'd still be using the rule of thumb. But he'd be as close as dammit and I'd measure that as good enough probably.

I don't think anyone should be rushing for the eject button unless we finished 5th or worse. And that's not going to happen. We WILL finish top 4 in my view, whether that be 3rd or 4th.

Other than finishing 5th or worse, I don't see the "sack" question being an issue for a good while yet - certainly not now or this season.

But for me its not a question of sacking, and I still think the "top 2" for next season is a reasonable rule of thumb for where we need to be.

Those in charge have an horizion that is longer than 15 seconds (unlike most of the lobotomized on here, yeah, I mean you DJS/Rashid), so I agree this is a non-issue for a couple of years.

Blackburn are now a decent team.
They are unbeaten in many league matches. (So are we, but quite a few have forgotten that...)
We almost got the win playing at their ground.
Not perfect, but not utter ****e either.

thye've taken point of 3 of the big 4 and play man u next week. Only at LFC could some fans be wanting a Managers head when the side is undefeated, has injuries to key players, and is in a rut. We are playing without our number 1 striker, number 1 midfielder, and a first choice centre back. We want our side to play like Aresnal and Man u but thats not going to happen with Rafa-no matter how much we want it to happen. We can play very good attacking football however and should have won if our 10 million pound striker did what he is supoossed to do. Rafa cant put the ball in the net for him. Also the quality improves x 10 with Harry in the team
