Full backing for Rafa from me. I was expecting for us to be closer to the top than we are now, but when you take into account the amount of injuries we have had then I am satisfied with the way the league is going. When we get our main payers back I think we will see the proper Liverpool, lets just hope its sooner rather than later.

He has been able to go after his number one targets in one window.
No one of the team above us has had the same injury problems as us.
Rafa has showed that we can play great football.
Give him money and he will deliver, Torres is proof of that.
We have signed some very exciting youngsters.

Rafa is our manager and should continue to be that because he is the best possible option out there.

Of course there are exceptions, but the point is even the finest managers often take time to really make their mark. As long as we keep seeing a reasonable level of improvement, Rafa's the man.

this absolute bull**** every time we lose/draw its the end of the world .

Its about doing whats best for the team, if Rafa is allowing personal feelings to come into it and isnt picking him for that then hes not doing his job, what are they, children?

The one thing that does concern me is the style of football that we are playing. I'm hoping that if we get a couple of players things will change because we aren't very pretty to watch at the moment.

Nobody with an ounce of common sense is saying he should go.

He IS the best man for the job, he just needs to get the team to raise their game to the standard that we all know they can.

If he continue to do that then he will get less motivated players because they have one less thing to fight for, a place in the starting XI.

You should be able to play yourself into an undroppable position but you can't.
I think this is just untrue. There are players who always play. Not every game but they play almost every big game. Torres, Gerrard, Xabi, Mascherano, Carra, Agger, Reina. And as for Torres, Xabi, Mascherano, Agger and Reina they earned their place. And so can others.

Plus you have to get out of this 10+ years ago thinking about if you play well you have some divine right to play the next game.
RAFA DOES NOT WORK LIKE THAT. And all the players know that. And you can see the once that accept that. Mascherano is one. He very recently stated that he would like nothing more then to commit his long term future to Liverpool. That for me speaks volumes about what Rafa is trying to create at our beloved club. I think almost any club in the world would take Javier Mascherano with open arms. He wants to stay with Liverpool. And that is largely because of Rafa.

So I dont agree with you that Rafa is 100% wrong in benching players even if they play well. That is how he works, he does that for a reason. And this last dip in form in not enough to make me doubt his work as a manager.
Actually, doubting his work as a manager at this point in time is nothing short of madness, IMHO.

A manager who lets a player misbehave and then starts him in the next game, is not worth the title.

We don't know anything about what goes on, we can only assume.
This means we have no idea if 'misbehave' is a right or wrong assertion.

If Rafa would play Crouch if they had a bust up then more players could start to think that it's ok to moan at Rafa.

In the end, that could end up with that Rafa lose the dressing room.

The manager must show that he is the boss, he must come down hard on these sort of things.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
