If one can get a clear idea of how defensive minded Rafa is just lokk at the substit. and compare them to fergie's and Wenger's.
1. vs Arsenal he could have played babel in the 2nd half, we were winning 1-0 and we had to play the counter attack but we did not have any player. When Alonso was injured he played Arbeloa as a holding midf., playing russian roulette and it was Arbeloa who did not mark Fabregas ....
2. vs Blackburn he could have played Kewell instead of Momo and thus having Gerrard and Mash. in the middle while playing Babel behind Kuyt... but no we still played with 3 central midfielders.
Just look at Wenger's game plan or Fergie's when they are searching for the 3 points and compare!!!
Okay they have more creative players it's true but did rafa &co. do a good scouting when they bought Kuyt??? Just compare Adebayor 3 million while Kuyt 10 million.
Yesterday and vs Aresenal rafa played for a point and not for 3 points and we got it!!!
