Ive posted my fellings several times. We are playing ****. Partly due to the fit players being in **** form and partly due to some of our most influential players (especially alonso) being injured.

I believe the **** form and the injuries will clear themselves up, the last few games have definitely shown signs of improvement, we just need that one game now where it all clicks and we **** someone for the confidence comes back. Lets hope its besiktas and fulham this week.

Was everyone as negative this time last year?

Reason I'm asking is that we're 4 points better off now than we were this time last year.

I can see we're playing badly as all the negative people keep telling us surely they can see that the team will start to play better. Get a bit of confidence and i turn play better still.

I'm fully behind Raffa, although some of his team/player selestions and substitutions , have me scratching my head.

But i dont dismiss it, as it could easily fall into place during any one game, and then suddenly things are different.

Confidence is a very fragile, yet highly influential thing.

I remember the season before last we were in a poor run, goals werent going in and it looked bad. We had a run of results that werent great:

Drew 1-1 at home to Brum
Lost 0-2 at Chelsea

Lost 0-1 in Benfica

Only 3 wins in 11. Even when we were winning, we werent scoring goals.

Then Fulham came to Anfield on a springtime wednesday night and we battered them 5-1....and then proceeded to go and win the next TEN games on the bounce too.

So it can change very quickly.

Maybe Fulham can come to Anfield next weekend, get thumped again and we'll go on a run of 11 wins in a row again...

of course we are still in for title, it's only 6 point off the top and a game in hand on 2nd placed utd.
it's not the points gap that worries it's the way we play and the way we have played for since the 1st international break. by the face of it, we rather look like losing more ground with each game than actually keep ourselfs in the race, let alone win some ground.
of course we're still unbeaten but i reckon everyone has hoped for signs of improvement but to be honest i was not encouraged at all by what i saw on saturday.
