The match is on here in Mauritius at 23.45 and I'll be skipping it for the first time in years.

6.30am now daylight savings is on. the night games are ok timewise but the day games unless its an early kick-off are a bit of a struggle especially after playing cricket all day. I stayed up the othe night for the Blackburn game and it was daylight by the time I fell asleep. I wish I hadnt of bothered.

I ****ing tried to stay awake for our game on Sunday morning, then at about 2:30am decided i would have a short sleep and i even set two alarms on two different phones to make sure i woke up.

Needless to say i didn't wake up till the 60th minute FFS.

Didn't seem to miss much though.

Foxtel IQ Mate - watched the scum v arsenal game. went to sleep at 1am 0 was awake at 7, and watched the blackburn game then. Only took 45 minutes, coz there were many parts of the game on double or x6 speed

Yeah up in Darwin we dont get daylight savings. So its still around 4:30 give or take like usual. 6:30 would of been quite grand.

And when we do win he moans on and on about how poor the referring was, or that the competition had an off day ...blah blah blah.

It's a sad day when I have to agree with you there mate! There's not many worse comentators than Tommy but Foster certainly is IMO.

The thing is though, you can listen to Tommy Smyth for 90 minutes, or you can listen to Craig Foster for 10 minutes, which includes the option of being able to change channels.

                      Straightforward decision IMO.

Yes I ve got the IQ but stayed up anyhow cos if i taped it i couldnt have resisted trying to find out what the score was before watching the replay. Might try it next time though if its a 4.00am start.

                            was quite funny wasn't it.

He didnt know what to say.....he wanted to bag us but all he could say was that Besiktas were a poor side, and that the first goal was through a mistake.

choke on that Foster you dumb ****:bird:

Thats right. He really seemed at a loss for words. How could you criticise 8-0? He did tryslip in a couple of negatives about but werent delievered with the usual venom. I was waiting for him to say "its all well and good to beat them 8-0 but wait til they play a good side like AC Milan"

cockmunching nancy boy that he is.

He tried to use Besikta's injury to a key player as an excuse too, completely forgetting about our own.
