    Liverpool v Besiktas Match Thread

    Great news on the new stadium today, lets hope we have a great result on the pitch to cap off a good day.

    Peter Crouch has been restored to Liverpool's attack for tonight's all-important Champions League clash with Besiktas.

    The England international will lead the line alongside Andriy Voronin as the Reds go in search of their first victory in Group A.

    Fabio Aurelio will also start while Fernando Torres has recovered from his adductor injury and has been named on the substitutes' bench along with Dutchman Dirk Kuyt.

          According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
