Riise was the only low point IMO

Only if Torres is really, really ready for a return. But I would put Babel on for Riise to see if he can carry through this little purple patch he's just had.

Yeah I thought he was pretty ****e - again. One decent cross but the best thing he did was the good throw he took to put Voronin away for the 2nd goal.

Well if Torres isn't ready I'd play Babel up front alongside Crouch. It's plain to see he's a striker and not a winger.

How many assists did Voronin get tonight? 4? He was ideal for this kind of game. He seems to know where everyone is and where everyone is going to go. As long as he's not expected to be scoring the goals he seems to play very well. Personally, I'd keep him in the lineup for a game like Fulham.

I have to agree with you there. I really hope Kewell can stay fit this season. We will be a very well balanced team if he does.

Once Agger and Alonso are back we will forget how **** we have been playing and start lauding Rafa for his tactics which, although have been ugly, have kept us in contention for the league.

I'm guessing Fulham will set-up just like Birmingham did, despite Sanchez's claims that they're an attacking outfit these days. Voronin was very poor against Brum.

Fulham won't afford him the space he got tonight, and for me the Torres/Crouch pairing warrants an opportunity.

I wonder if Kuyt had played the same as Voronin tonight if he'd be getting slagged off for not scoring?

The whole team played well tonight and I hope Crouchie and Yossi keep there places for Saturday and the confidence can keep building

Crouch and Yossi were our best players tonight.

They both deserve to start on Saturday.

Fulham are draw specialists. It will be tough to break them down.

Kuyt and Voronin it is then.

It begs the question: Why don't we play attacking football more often as we have the players to do it.

Yossi is the new Garcia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!He is ****e one game and brilliant the next, Please play Babel up front.
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
