Kewells talent has never been in doubt just his fitness and commmitment. He looked hungry tonight and confident. With these 2 attributes along with his ability he can be a real match winner. I was extrmely impressed with him and think he deserves a start at the weekend!!
    Dare we believe

He's a top player that has sadly been hampered by some terrible injuries. It's a shame that we've never got to see the best of him here and I fear that the next injury is only weeks away.

It'd be nice if he could stay fit and play well and earn himself a new contract in the summer but if he's injured for any stretch of time you couldn't blame Rafa for letting him go.

Give Harry a one year rolling contract just incase his injuries flare up. As a club we cannot afford to pay players high wages while they are injured 24/7.
Signs are good for Kewell so far, twenty minutes(twice) to prove his fitness and he did good.

How old is Kewell now? I wonder if his career will last longer due to playing less games or will injuries take their toll?

I like Kewell and I hope his injuries are behind him.

by far our best winger and when fit and on form one of the very best in the league. Big few months for him, if he can stay fit and show his talents then he will end his career with us in a few years.

Do you think he'd agree to those terms? I think anything other than a years contract for Harry is a risk aswell.

He looked good and hopefully will either start or play more than 20 minutes this weekend. Hope he doesn't get injured playing in a meaningless fecking friendly in the next few weeks.

He need to play games so that friendly game will only bring him closer to full match fitness.

Do you really think that he would play if Rafa don't want him to play?

As Kewell himself have said, he won't do anything that Rafa don't want him to do on his way back.

If he plays for Australia then it's because Rafa want him to do it, nothing else.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I honestly believe that we are going to see the very best of Kewell, and I think he'll silence many doubters.

Kewell at his best will be awesome for us, and i believe he is about to ignite
