Did anyone else think the tactics etc were spot on tonight right from the start? I don't always agree with Rafa but I would have done almost exactly the same tonight...playing Arbeloa at RB was genius, and I don't like to say it really but I was glad to see Kuyt riding the bench.
Then I was just waiting for some random subs near the end, when I was thinking how we should maybe give Stevie a rest and wouldn't mind seeing Kewell & Babel get a run out, and look what Rafa goes and does. Hopefully tonight is a turning point and we won't be back to head scratching starting line ups and odd substitutions...guess we'll have to wait and see at the weekend. Surely he has to play Masher & Stevie in the middle and have Benayoun and Arbeloa on the right and the same pair up front, because those six were outstanding. Anything else I'd find disappointing because some of the link play between those lot was awesome. I firmly believe if we line up with them against Fulham it will be carnage once again.
We'll probably see Kuyt up front on his own now
