i'd play yossi ahead of pennant every time. And in tighter games he's the ideal impact player whilst gerrard starts on the right. the lad looked chuffed to bits, hope he gets to carry on by starting on saturday.

I think he is quite a fair pundit and knows a lot about the game, and quite pleasant to listen to, unlike Lawro, together with Motson, who fill teir commentary with woe. The fact that Pleat can't pronounce his words may have something to do with dyslexia, rather than him being a jerk.

I must say I have got no problems with Pleat as a summariser at all - and I find the Benanoon comments bafflingly funny. He's definitely one of the better ones.

I think he's more insightful than most but I can't get past his absolutely ****ing ridiculously irritating flaws.

As for Yossi, he was immense tonight.

Great performance from him last night.

He seems to be settling in nicely now and I for one can see why Rafa bought him. He offers goals and his first touch and mazy runs are sublime. You could see in his interview last night he's got a great attitude as well.

I still love Luis but if he had to go then Yossi is the perfect replacement in my eyes.
