Wish i didnt have to wait until this morning to say this...

But fecking superb performance. Everyone was class and everything clicked.

Benayoun is becoming a very useful player, Babel's getting into the groove and his goals will boost his confidence.

As i've been saying for donkeys, Crouch is a superb option in the final third, he linked the play, he kept the ball and he scored goals. He MUST be a regular starter, regardless of any petty arguments he may have had with Rafa.

Arbeloa and Aurelio were a joy to watch getting forward. Offered fantastic width and options high up the park. Great to see.

Mascherano's discipline in such a game was incredible. Despite the goal party going on around him, he sat in his position and did what he was in the team for.

Kewell proved that if he can stay fit, he's more than a useful option.

Voronin again showed his intelligence, vision and movement. Unfortunately for him, Crouch's brace and Torres' return to fitness should see him benched for the weekend. But again, his confidence should be good.

Finally, the overall affect should be excellent. Confidence should be high, the players should be feeling 20 foot tall now...and that's not just Crouchie, who basically IS 20 foot tall...

Well done to Rafa for getting his tactics right and starting Crouch.

Onwards and upwards now, last night was the perfect tonic required to boost confidence and remind the players how good they can be. Let's hope it's the start of a nice winning run.

I criticise when i see things going wrong, and i dont think there's anything wrong with that. But dont let it be said that i dont give credit where it's due as well.

Still early days, one amazing result is still only worth 3 points and doesnt undo everything that's gone before it. But it does give us a good spring board, so let's fecking get on with it now.

Let's make Fulham the next victims

Fifa need to bring in the bonus point system, like in rugby where if you score 4 tries, you get 1 additional point.
I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

He was the springboard for most of our attacks, he kept taking the ball from Sami and Carra and launching the next wave of attack. He's much more than just a defensive shield.

Crouch is a superb player. i've been fighting his corner all year on this forum. he may not look the best and people come up with this ridiculous argument of "he slows down our play" or "he makes us hoof" which is quite obviously balls.

What he offers the team cannot be underestimated. The fact is, when he is in the team, we create more chances and look far more potent in attack.
