Thanjk you.

I don't think you would get more than 5m for Kuyt at the moment. He is not the goal threat everyone assumed he would be.
Don't include me in that.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
I also think the value of the strikers we have is a moot point. In our current financial situation if there is a better player we want to buy it shouldn't matter how much we get for selling an existing one. A large transfer fee would just be the cherry on top.
Nor my manager at work who said that he was considered to be an Andrew Cole type figure in Holland that needed millions of chances to score. I told him that Kuyt would be a goal machine in England. I have egg on my face.

Ah, so do you think your embarrassment may account for your keenness to post a poll which is unarguably skewed against him (whether or not that was your conscious intention)?

read my previous post.
For what it's worth I have actually stuck up for Kuyt until the game on Sunday where, even you would have to agree, he was poor. If a better goal scoring option became available I would replace him. The other strikers have a better eye for goal, whilst Voronin has only been here 5 mins and has done enough to suggests he deserves a season at least to impress.
If a top top striker in Europe became available are you saying that you would not replace any of our current lot?

That's such a biased question too.
It's hard not to ask biased questions, especially when you have your own views on the subject.

But I'm not saying it has to be Kuyt. You are a Kuyt fan, you might even think he is one of the best in Europe, but what do then make of Voronin and Crotch? Are they good enough?

My opinion on the matter is worthless and to be honest I think the whole thread is. I was merely trying to point out the bias in your post.
I'm much more interested in that than in the (non-)issue of which striker Mr Benitez may sell. I realise you and many others wouldn't share my interest.

Yeah but when he signed I wrote his name in a text and predictive text wrote Crotch. During his 19 game goal drought start it seemed rather apt and I have referred to him as Crotch ever since. It has become more of an affectionate term in recent times.
