A left side consisting of Aurelio and Gonzales seems a little lightweight to me. Does Speedy track back and help out in defence? Fabio looks like he needs a bit of assistance at the moment.

Tracking back and tackling is actually one of Speedy's strong points.

Dunno mate but I'd like to see Warnock at left back tomorrow night. Carra didn't look fit so I'd leave him out too.

If Warnock is fully fit then he should play as a sub to get a bit of game time before the next game,as Aurelio is looking a bit unsure .

We must up our game and start playing a bit more like a team from front to back.Our midfield need to cover the defence better

I know, not a pretty team but Rafa often confuses.

Bellers of the bench in the second half for Gonzo with a four in midfield if we are chasing a goal.

I’d love to see this line-up tonight, I think that a back three with Agger as sweeper and Alonso as protection would work well. Depends on how dangerous the PSV wingers are I suppose as to who we need as wing backs.

I haven’t been too impressed with Fabio yat but he’s at least more defensive that Speedy on that wing, and I think Pennant can track back wnough to help out Carra – He’s also a lot more offensive than Finnan.

I’m also contemplating Jerzy returing for the (currently) error prone Reina. He just hasn’t started this season well and most chances seem to lead to a goal – Jerzy could be motivated against PSV too!
