    Torres left out for Spain

Aragones left Torres out and went with Guiza, Villa and Tamudo upfront against Sweden and N.Ireland. Would McLaren do the same? I think he would risk the player. Maybe we should leave Torres out of the Fulham game to make sure he gets 100% fit.

The squad in full if anyone is interested:

    Squad:
Goalkeepers: Iker Casillas (Real Madrid), Pepe Reina (Liverpoool)

Defenders: Mariano Pernia (Atletico Madrid), Pablo Ibanez (Atletico Madrid), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid), Joan Capdevila (Villarreal), Raul Albiol (Valencia), Carlos Marchena (Valencia), Carles Puyol (Barcelona)

Midfielders: Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal), Andres Iniesta (Barcelona), Xavi (Barcelona), David Silva (Valencia), David Albelda (Valencia), Joaquin (Valencia), Albert Riera (Espanyol), Marcos Senna (Villarreal)

Forwards: David Villa (Valencia), Daniel Guiza (Real Mallorca), Raul Tamudo (Espanyol) (Reporting by Mark Elkington, editing by Miles Evans)

      Good News
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Thats great news. I can see him playing against Fulham, but 2 weeks off will do him good.
Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.

          Excellent news

If only the Australian coach was as sensible!
Lawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"

Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"

Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"

You know Harry will find a way to get hurt regardless of international duties.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

Harry should retire from international football.

Always look out for him now.He was a regular whilst playing for us.Could be injured i suppose.

Doesn't seem to be getting as many minutes w/Atletico as you (and he) would expect.

Pity really, he's worth 90 mins week and week out.

If he's serious about resurrecting his Liverpool career then he MUST retire from International football. For me it would be a prerequisite for getting a new contract.

Like Albert Riera who was on loan at Citeh a few years ago?

Like that Peter Crouch who was on loan at some random Swedish club years ago?

Well 3 months ago he was talking about playing in the next 2 world cups. Admittedly as an Australian I admit we do need him if we want to qualify. He has proved his class so often for us. We have good players but Harry is our weapon in that he puts opposition defences on the back foot just by his presence.

He probably should retire but I doubt he will. Its not as if he plays them all anyway. He only played 28-29 games for us in 11 years.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24
