    Rafa wants to stay

    Until 2015.

Just say the pre-match interview on the offal and Rafa said he'd like to still be here in 2015.

Given the rumours that we've had about real madrid, I was always concerned that he might not be here as long as I would like.

I always hoped he'd be here long enough to see his project out including getting the youth players into the first team.

    :woohoo:

TBH I don't either of them are smart enough. I can see Xabi being an awesome, but not those two!

Mascherano is the future manager for me.

He can motivate, he is smart and seems to understand the game very well.

And he told Carra to get stuffed, so he would be a proper boss.

lets give him a 8 year contract that can't be rifted, he'll produce a dominant side in england and Europe. This i am sure of

Really? I think Carra is as 'football' smart as anyone. He may not come across as being bright but in my opinion he knows his football inside out. I reckon he'll become a very good manager one day.

I agree although he insists he'll have nothing to do with the game after he hangs up his boots other than following the Reds home and away.

I actually think he's a bright lad. His interviews are always much more interesting than most footballers and he speaks pretty well - albeit squeakily . He's totally immersed in the game and is, as you say, at the very least 'football smart'.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

It seems most people wanted to sack him last week. That would be an expensive business on an 8 year contract.

Maybe he knows he's getting the boot.
                    Oh I don't know.

no way is he, don't think the owners would be that stupid...

it isn't long ago that pako said that we were not ready for a challenge, we weren't as good as chelski and the mancs, not on in the whole season, now if he thought we needed to improove alot to challenge it wouldn't suprise me that was rafas idea as well, and it it is rafas idea i'm sure tom and george are aware of it.so thats why i think there isn't any pressure in him at this time...

Sacking Rafa now or even after this season, is IMHO unthinkable.

I hope he will be like Alex for us, aside from the fact he is gonna win the CL every now and then.

Crouch should be the boss in the future.

                          Everyone looks up to him....

Carra as manager and Gordon Strachan as his assistant. Could you imagine the team talk before the game
