Liverpool star lined up for City switch

Liverpool striker Peter Crouch is being monitored by Manchester City scouts.

Sven Goran Eriksson went to see the England striker in person on Tuesday night during Liverpool's 8-0 romp over Besiktas on Tuesday night.

The Swede is keen on signing the striker in the January transfer window and is weighing up a £10 million bid in the hope of convincing Rafa Benitez to part with the striker.
