    Gerrard

Well what can I say about the great man?

Marky and I have been quick to point out whenever he has played bad. BUT in the last two games, he seems to have finally understood what Rafa has been asking him to do for the last couple of years.

He always seemed to think his role was to win games, but now I think he sees that he should win games AND help others win games.

His discipline over those games has been awesome, he's chosen the right time to get forward, the right time to switch play, the right time to play the hollywood ball.

A couple of games ago, I was convinced Xabi was our best CM, but now, I'm not so sure.

I'm a pragmatist, but if he plays like he has the last couple of weeks then I'll join the GCDNWB

Gerrard was always the best midfielder or possibly best player at the club. He has every attribute but he needs to sort his head out at times. He seems to be back in form which can only mean good things. This is the sort of form we need our best players like himself and Torres to produce if we are mounting a title challenge.

Alonso is a good midfielder but Gerrard has something which can spring up an attack with his surging runs and one twos. Its majestic but he needs to make sure he keeps his head in the right place

That's always been hios biggest problem, but over the last couple of weeks he has proven that he can do it. That's the difference between premier class and world class. He's been world class, I think he'll continue down that route.

Shows what I know but I was disappointed in him yesterday.

Maybe it has something to do with when Rafa took him off for Lucas.

that kick up the arse is exactly what he needed and rafa knew it..
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Haha, me too. Thought he was below-par. His passing was way off and tried far too many killer balls.
