    Reina

IMO is the best goalkeeper in the world.

The man is as vital to the team as any other player for any other team. The stats from his time at Liverpool show how great he is. He's the most amazing keeper at saving penalties that I've ever seen.

Of course respect has to be given to the back 4 that play with him when we get a clean sheet but for a keeper to have the clean sheet record that he has, for me is brilliant.

I always remember in the FA cup final when the ball dropped towards the goal and he scooped it onto the post, my heart stopped for the second before that but good aul Reina saved the day.

No-one in the world would be better for us. No wonder Rafa had him down as one of they key players for us.

TBH I don't think there is another keeper in the world that would be better for us.

As a sweeper/keeper plus with his distribution, no-one is even close. Rafa's second best signing (after Agger).

I remember when we signed him, everyone was asking who? All anyone knew was that he played against us for Barca and had a brilliant penalty record.

6m was an absolute peach of a bargain.

I went to see Barcelona in La Liga before he signed for us, but at the time knew he was nailed on. IT was Barca against Villareal, he had a mare, came out flapping once or twice. I was concerned when we signed him, but since then, he has almost proved himself the best keeper in the Prem, or the most rounded keeper. Almost what I would call a modern day keeper.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Another thing I'd like to add is how easy he seemed to adapt to the lifestyle away from Spain. From what I've read and seen in pictures he really does look like a great laugh in training and like Arbeloa he wears his heart on his sleeve.

I'm sure you all saw when Torres scored, Pepe was about the 3rd player to reach him to celebrate!

I haven't yet seen a keeper I'd swap him for.

he has gradually improved for us,he has gone from being maybe the third best keeper in the prem to the best.

hes as important to us as carra, gerrard and torres.
