I never look at we need x points to win the league.

It's all about challenging, if you're up there with 4 games to go then anything can happen. Teams don't react well under pressure, lesser clubs fluke points off better teams, refs give dodgy decisions which change a game.

I just want us to be there or thereabouts in April and then it's on.

We are consistently the best team in the league from November to May and one of the elite in Europe. Rafa should be drumming this fact into the players, we have done it before from this stage of the season.

Whichever way you dress it up though, we WILL need close to 90 points to win it.

We'd basically need to win 12 out of our 13 remaining home games, and 10 out of our remaining 13 away games....give or take a few differences with the odd drawn game etc...

26 games left, 22 wins and 4 losses....quite an ask.

Given that we're 3 points behind Arsenal and Man U, their task is not too dissimilar really. Yes its quite an ask, but it's quite an ask for whoever wins the league to produce league winning form.

It's not impossible to do that. Its what any league winning side must do these days. Its the nature of the beast.

Are we up to it? Well time will tell.

I still think United will win it, and that our realistic goal is top 2.

Exactly, the league is much stronger - teams like Citeh, Blackburn, etc are all vastly improved and also most of the top 4 seem to be drawing against each other rather than getting a conclusive win - making those 'lesser' games even more important
