Either way Moores looks like a zap if the club is burdend with debt. It bothers Gillett because they promised they would not do that. Hicks don't give a ****e.

Conclusion: Of course there is something about it. Two mega egoes. Only a matter of time and bound to happen. Hicks is the money no BS emotions crap. If he brakes a promise and gains a million; fine with him. Gillett is more heart and honor.

Didn't we have all this same stuff in the summer and it was bollocks but everyone jumped on the band wagon Dave Usher included?

since they came the redesigned stadium was a positive. hope they can still pull it off without leaving us with arsenal size debts.

Was dissapointed with the summer net spend of under 25 million though.

So let me get this right. Hicks has gone ahead without Gillette's agreement and had the stadium redesigned and not only that but has also gone behind his back again and sought re-financing? This has all happened under the nose of Foster Gillett (is he not at the club working with Parry?). GG is also pissed off becuase Hick is in the news more-wasnt this story doing the rounds 6 months ago?-think it was.G is worried about saddling the club with debt but unless they have to put in more of their own money this will happen anyway. Who knows what the reasl story is but its something we can do without at the moment.

                      Why?!

It's not about spending the most money it's about getting the right players at the right price.

It's actually pleasing that our summer outlay was £15m net when you consider the quality we brought in. That means that the people who are in charge of negotiating deals are doing things the right way.

I love the way we broke our transfer record with a true world class striker; signed all of our top players up to long term contracts; got permission for a stadium with a design that exceeded most people's expectations; and some still look for ways to make it negative; but find it easy to believe the **** spouted by News of the World.

since bascombe left every week he has had a pop at liverpool and managed to "dig out" an exclusive
he may of moved "up in the world" but to me he seems to have a grudge or two against liverpool
