Yossi's Out For Three Weeks - Adductor!

    From the Offal:

Yossi Benayoun will be out for three weeks after a scan revealed an adductor tear.
Club spokesman Ian Cotton said: "A scan has confirmed Benayoun sustained a tear against Fulham."

Is adductor the new metatarsal in trendy injuries? or is it just another word for a thigh strain?

That's a big blow. The lad has the guile and flair that we've been missing at Liverpool for many many years.

    I love watching him play.

Chance for Babel to shine now. We're running out of "wingers" though. Hopefully Harry can stay fit.

damn, never thought Yossi being injured would ever be a blow for us, but he has come on leaps and bounds over the past few games.

You've got to give people the chance to settle in though. I've got lots of West Ham friends and they still love him, and wholly expect him to be a resounding success with us.
I was really chuffed with his performance against Besiktas, all he needs is a run in the team and a ball at his feet and he'll become a favourite for us too.

It's a real disappointment that he's been injured.
          Really?

              This is indeed bad news.
However for once the international break has come at a good time.....
By the time it's over Torres, Kewell and Agger should all be match fit and Yossi should only end up missing a couple of games.

Glad he's not playing for Israel as I want Russia to beat them and KO Engerland.

                      I agree.

Yossi has been a great buy. His touch and vision are 2nd to none.

                      Great player.

If he gets the confidence to run directly at goal more often he will be the best buy of the season by any PL club for me. Great value and just the sort of player we needed.

I have to say I had some doubts having not seen him play consistantly but he has been exceptional for us.
