Rafa happy to consider Carson sale

Rafael Benitez insists he won't stand in Scott Carson's way of a permanent move to Aston Villa.
Carson is currently on a season long loan in the Midlands, but has made no secret of his desire to pen a long term deal with Martin O'Neill's men.

Benitez understands Carson's frustration after failing to establish himself as a first choice at Anfield and admits a move to Villa could suit both parties.

"You can understand that he wants to play. He knows Pepe Reina is top class and that it will be difficult for him to play here," said Benitez.

"Scott is a good professional and a nice boy. This is a crucial time in his career and he needs to play. At the moment we are concentrating on our own team and our own competitions, but Villa can decide if they want to keep the player.

"At the moment we have Pepe, Charles Itandje and David Martin as goalkeepers so we can manage the situation okay."

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Scott will make a top class keeper, but unfortunately for him we have the best goalkeeper in the world at Anfield so for the good of his career (and our pockets!!!) it's best he moves on.

makes a plesant change from having to pay fookers off to get rid. A really big plus for Rafa's tenure.

                      He sounds unbelievably thick.

The only footballers around at the moment who can rival his level of density are Gaby Agbonlahor and Andy Johnson.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
