        Would he be happy as an assistant though? If he knew that he'd be guranteed to take over with in three years then maybe so but I can't see Rafa being comfortable knowing that his assistant is being trained up to take over.

        In an ideal situation it could happen but I think it has to happen naturaly like when Paisley took over from Shankly and Fagan from Paisley. If we brought someone in with the view to them being the next manager it'd be like forcing the situation, imho.

        If Jewell was happy to be assistant though with no guarantees it could work.
