One thing i do know is that pellegrino was awful and cost us- literally - a goal a game when he started.
i totally reject the idea that he improved the sides knowledge of the zonal marking and if we needed to rest players - we should have used the reserves not this geriatric.
the reason it makes me so angry was the stakes t that time.....if people remember, we finished 5th to the blueshyte by a "pellegrino-sized" margin. it had a fairytale ending with us winning number 5 but if wed lost the final - and missed out on the champions league as we nearly still did!, it would have set this club back YEARS.
its about priorities, and i dont think rafa would accord the domestic league (or the overall best interests of the club) such a low priority againdrunk knows bestComment
