Well, if you look at what happened the last months then it's almost like Atletico want to sell him but not for anything less than £22m.

They scream out that he has a £22m buy-out clause, not exactly trying to hide anything are they.

There isn't that many clubs that he would move to. I can't see him move to Italy after what happened there and he would never join Real.

That leaves us, Barca, Chelsea, Man U and Arsenal.

His favourite club is Liverpool. We can afford him. Rafa has tried to sign him. Torres helped him a lot his first season. Garcia can talk in our favour.

A few things that points in our direction.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Can we afford him? Will the board sanction it? That would make 45 million on 2 players this year, unprecedented at LFC and with the stadium costs ever spiraling upwards the question has to be asked.

I think it depends on how well we're competing in the CL and the premiership. Isn't it 500k for every CL match won? Plus TV money for each round.

I'd like to see it, Aguero and torres is a partnership which stands up well against Rooney and Tevez.

Well we need to move into the 21st century and start spending big for the best players just look at Torres spend big to buy quality thats what the rest have been doing and has been worth it as they have won titles.

We need to get into that mentality now and spending 22 odd million on Aguero is better then buying the likes of two or 3 average players like we have been doing

Just remember who was the first to even mention Aguero before we were connected Sell Momo keep Crouch.
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We won't buy big this January this winter IMHO. We won't buy Aguero either now or in the summer we missed out big time with him.

No big transfers happen in January usually

One of the best January signings ever was Larsson to Manure

There is no way we are ever going to spend more than 5 million in January.

Maybe, but I am not expecting anything.

Everyone at the Echo is convinced he's off too by the way, if not in January then definately the summer.

EDIT: It'll be tough to replace him though
Whats he been doing thats making him look like he has an attitude.
The press are constantly trying to get something out of him, but he keeps his mouth shut all the time. Unless he is acting up in training, I can't see how anyone thinks he has an attitude problem.
On the contrary actually, I don't think there are many players who would have had the patience that Crouch has had, considering the form he has shown at Liverpool. What lets him down badly though is his lack of pace in Rafa's eyes IMO.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                            * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Used to be 500k a point, but that went out the window in about '01 or '02.

It's 450,000 for a win as far as I know, I'm pretty sure of that
