You could very well be right. I know that when the CL started it was £500k a point, but that went out the window a long time ago. I don't know what the current breakdown is.

    Sorry!

A few things that points in our direction.
Him and Kaka would be lovely AF but sadly, i can't see it happening but, stranger things do happen

I don't think it's a secret that Rafa tried to sign Aguero before he moved to Atletico but couldn't afford him.

If Rafa want him and Aguero want to leave then I can't see him move to any other club than us.

I would be very surprised if Aguero's next club isn't Liverpool but that's my opinion.
Have we even been linked to him recently except your word.

On the contrary actually, I don't think there are many players who would have had the patience that Crouch has had, considering the form he has shown at Liverpool. What lets him down badly though is his lack of pace in Rafa's eyes IMO.
            I agree

Cant see the pace thing being an issue tbh - hardly as if Rafa didnt know when he signed him, and lack of pace doesnt stop him playing Kuyt/Voronin week in week out

Do you have anything to back this up or is it utter speculation because you WANT it to be true?

A certain Mr. David Villa comes to mind, who is currently under performing, who is currently playing for a struggling Valencia side who have a new manager and who will form a lethal partnership with Mr. Torres.

                    Just as an aside :

we paid £7m for Crouch and will get in the region of £10m back.
we paid £5m for Sissoko and will get in the region of £10m back.
we paid £2m for Carson and will get in the region of £10m back.

That's a profit somewhere around the £18m mark which is positively Wengeresque for us. Not that the journo's will pick up on this - they'll simply tot up any extra signings in January and add it to the amount Rafa has already spent.

Doesn't Babel want to play as a striker rather than a winger ?

He maybe the fourth option if Crouch goes.

That's because Wenger has won the title. When Rafa wins the title I'm sure nobody will care two hoots whether or not he is profitable in the transfer market like Wenger or more like Fergie.

If you search the net then you will find an interview with him saying that his favourite club is Liverpool. That was when he still played for Independiente.

We couldn't afford him just like we couldn't afford Walcott and Denilson.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Momo Sissoko is heading for showdown talks over his Liverpool future.

The Mali mdfielder is upset at his lack of first-team opportunities and wants the matter resolved with Anfield boss Rafa Benitez.

Sissoko was the subject of a £7m transfer bid from Juventus in the summer after a great season but it has all gone sour for him this term.

He has made only a handful of starts and had a terrible time during the Champions League defeat to Marseille.

This has led to fresh interest from Inter Milan and even local rivals Everton.

And the emergence of Javier Mascherano and Lucas Leiva in midfield may persuade Benitez to part with Sissoko in January.

Liverpool midfielder Momo Sissoko wants to speak to coach Rafael Benitez to find out whether he has a future at Anfield.

Mali international Sissoko has been frustrated by his lack of first-team opportunities this season and has fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of Javier Mascherano and the emergence of 20-year-old Brazilian Lucas Leiva.

Sissoko, 22, joined Liverpool in a £5.6 million deal from Valencia in July 2005, and despite making an impact last season, has failed to continue his good form into the current campaign.

Former Liverpool midfielder Didi Hamann has urged Benitez to stand by the player and believes that he will recapture his form once confidence returns to his game.

Hamann, who left Anfield for Manchester City last summer, said: "Momo is only young but I think he offers them something different from Mascherano and Stevie (Gerrard), in that he is a real ball winner.

"He covers as much ground as anyone and wins a lot of balls. But he's obviously not as high in confidence as he should be.

"If he gets a few games under his belt and keeps it simple, he'll be alright. When I was there I think his passing improved and I expected him to continue to play well.

"I haven't seen all the games this season but I think he'll be okay and recapture the form that saw him do so well when he first arrived."

I'll be sad to see them go, especially Crouch - mainly because there are two inferior strikers being kept on in preference.

But if his attitude's **** then...

Momo is a different matter. Lucas seems to be ahead of him now and it's best for all concerned if he moves on with our best wishes. Momo threatened to be a great for us, but it's not quite happened for him.
I have to agrre with Shaggy that Crouch is being sold while two inferior strikers remain.

Crouch's goal to game ratio, is miles better than Kuyts, Vorinin cannot really be included in a comparison during his Anfield career.

Who cares if Crouch is not as big a team player, every moans about Kuyt being in his own half and everyone wants Liverpool to have strikers who score goals and Crouch is the best we have behind Torres.

As for Momo, he is shocking
