If this season has all 4 sides competing for the league, how many points do you think it will take to win the league?

Whenever 3 sides have been in with a chance, the winners have never exceeded 85 points.

If you look at the squads of the top 4, I think all of them have the ability to mount a serious challenge and, if that is the case, I can't see any team reaching 90 points.

If you look at 96/97; United won on 75 points, with us, Arsenal and Newcastle all on 68.

I'm sure it will be more this time around, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the winners being around the 80 point mark.

United unfortunately look capable of equally or exceeding the 85 point barrier this season, so I think thats the target to beat.

not correct my friend - in the 1985/6 (double) season lfc, the blueshyte and west ham were head to head for the title until the final week and it took 88 points to win it.

Im just happy we are still in the title race coming into December - we're usually out of it by now!

I think 85 points will win it as with 4 top teams, they will take more point off each other

Haven't you heard? Liverpool are a club in crisis, Rafa should be sacked, the players are ****e, rotation sucks etc - we can't possibly still be in the title race!!!!!
