I agree. Just depends on his attitude in the dressing room though. I have a mate who is very good friends with Franco at Villareal and he says his attitude stinks.
Mind you for £3m, if he gives us any jip, just leave him in a room with Carra for 5 minutes.

Forget Riquelme.
It's Aguero we should be after.

I'm not so sure it is such a simple equation as a/ you have to consider his wages and b/ his effect on morale if he gets a strop on again. I agree that if he could make a go of the PL he would be a fine option. If it were possible some sort of deal where he was bought and loaned to another team in the PL to see how he settled in would be ideal. I doubt anyone would be interested though.Originally posted by SpeedyG View PostImagine if he did adapt to the EPL though

terrific player when he can be bothered.
absolutely awful when not bothered.
as for his attitude and how he`l react in the premier league, who knows, certainly know on here in any how.
hes well worth a gamble at 3 mil,but then again its only a rumor that thats what his price tag would be.
but for anyone to say nah i wouldnt take him at 3 mil is ludicrous.

Like you say for £3m i'm surprised every club in the league isn't in for him. Who else could you get for that price??? FFS we were linked with Kenwyn Jones for £12m a few weeks ago, he's hardly set the world on fire has he. I agree with SpeedyG too the upsides far outweigh the downsides. He would guarantee turning some more of our set pieces into goals.
Definately one to think aboutWe managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

sorry but i sont see where he could play for us, in this very quick league he would not get the time on the ball. Love him as a player and maybe in home games he would win us some points but overall he would be another Litmanen, a bit too much of a luxury away from home.08-09 Dirk monitor
5 goals (target 15)
3 assists also........

By a million miles.
I know he's a lazy ****er etc etc etc but like I say, for 3 mil he's nearly be worth it for set pieces alone! If we are 0-0 in the 90 minute, just do a lot of diving in or around the box and then bring him on to take the free kick. Sorted.
