I watched his interview on LFC TV last night and it was fascinating.
He came across as brilliant bloke, full of amusing anecdotes and stories, but more than anything else, his humility shone through.
He always put the club first, from when he missed out on a place in the cup final line up, to when he hung up his boots, and served the great managers in the boot room.
A much under-recognised fellow in my opinion.
On a side note, the LFC TV channel isn't great, but I absolutley love the interviews with the legends of the past.
