To be fair I think G & H are waiting to sort the debt refinancing (and seeing as they had to pay the debt for it you can add the £10m for Kuyt into the £23m figure) so I'm reluctant to criticise them. The problem I believe is that Rafa can see the final piece(s) to the team and is frustrated by the timing of it all.

I imagine that the combination of looking at buying Mascher + others is a very significant amount of money for a January window. I'm going to wait and see how this works out. So far I think over time Rafa has handled this sort of frustration quite well despite the occasional blow out. Maybe it's just an inevitability of the current push to improve both our stadium and squad at the same time from a position of being behind our closest rivals.

2 weeks from now is only the beginning of December - can't sign anyone til January - Rafa will have his targets and what they'll cost - then he'll learn his budget before the end of December and be ready to go in January
