They've got a point though. The team we have now should be good enough to win us the league. Rafa has already said that it's difficult buying players in January, so I can't see what he's up to there.

I wasn't concerned until I saw the statement from G&H. Not happy with that at all. Is the communication that they and Rafa have so poor that they have to use the media to send messages to each other?

Rafa can act at times like a kid who won't be allowed to be 'john barnes' in the playground and takes his ball home. Wenger works away with little money without moaning.

The Yanks came in and redesigned the new stadium and will fund it even though costs are soaring. They supplied funds for Torres & Babel and the team doesn't look much better than last year.

Are Hicks & Gillett getting on? Was having two owners always going to end in tears?

Are we fans being greedy and expecting an open cheque book for the stadium and players?

The americans bought us as an investment. They don't love us and aren't fans. They want to see a return. Its the problem of selling out to outside investors. Only Arsenal are still flying the flag high & proud in that respect.

I don't think its time to panic yet. If results improve, we'll be fine, if we start losing then Rafa may be off.

I've listened to the interview now and my impression is that he was just annoyed with the questions about England. Obviously it looks like he didn't have a good week at the office, but that doesn't mean he wants out, far from it.

For the first time, I agree with you here. He got pissed off only when they asked him about England etc. And who could blame him? His concern is Liverpool and Liverpool only! F*** England and their comedy gold last night.
