The whole thing sounds a bit worrying cos Rafa will walk eventually if they keep pushing him - he left Valencia cos the board wouldn't back him and he'll do the same to us - and cry at the press conference too

Have to say that I agree with all of this. They can't have much time for LFC between their Nacsar, NHL and Baseball teams.

I'm not saying that they don't care but to them we are a business interest, nothing more. Our club was bought to make them money.

I'm concerned that Gillett Jr. has got on his bike because we're basically back to where we were just after Athens.

Hopefully things sort themselves out but they have to get someone here to run the club full time, surely?

You would hope so, and this is if Foster really has gone back to the States. but who would they really trust to make such business decisions for them or to advise them about how much we do actually need to spend, I am struggling to think.

Rafa is furious with them for not sanctioning deals in and out, and the yanks are getting their retaliation in first. That's what happened today. There's major problems behind the scenes - again.

I haven't read through the whole thread, but I would hope that someone has put some of the pieces together from what Bascombe wrote about Mascherano wanting his deal done within a month, Rafa doing a deal subject to the yanks giving it the go ahead, and the yanks saying they won't do nothing til they get over here in December. It's not just that, but it's a big part of it.

Also, not sure if people are aware of this, but Foster Gillett went back home after the Arsenal game and hasn't been here since.

I'm not even going to get into all this again though, some people just don't want to accept what's going on and I'm not wasting my time trying to convince people.

He was asked about the England Croatia game and he said he wanted to talk about his team he was asked about the Newcastle team and as usual he said he would only talk about his team, if he was in a bad mood at the press conference .. he could of been wait for it .... just in a bad mood for a myriad of reasons ...

More bull crap from TLW. Maybe there is some friction between the manager and the money men...doesn't that exist at most clubs? But one things for sure, TLW are as always just fanning the flames. Now if you people think we have it bad on Est, TLW is a f*cking zoo. Or at least it used to be as I haven't visited for almost a year now.

But without wishing to start any forum wars, try and work out how many times TLW has actually "fanned the flames". It's rare for anything said by Dave U and co to be posted on the front page of that site, more often than not it's a bit of clarification of what's been reported and rumoured elsewhere. Unless you read every thread you've a chance of missing it. But Dave's reputation is such that a lot of people do believe him, and so what he says spreads to other forums.

I've noticed how a lot of us Reds don't like the idea of things not quite being too rosy behind the scenes, and a lot of others who don't like Rafa. As such there's a large number unwilling to acknowledge anything said against the owners. Dave U gets slated, Chris Bascombe gets slated, tonight i've even seen Tony Barratt getting some abuse.

People have to rub the sleep out of their eyes and accept that we've got trouble behind the scenes. Let's hope it's soon sorted.
