Thanjk you.

i think he chose his words VERY carefully and repeated them to send a VERY significant message.
i'm going to concentrate on training and coaching my team.
i'm going to concentrate on training and coaching my team.
i'm going to concentrate on training and coaching my team.
i'm going to concentrate on training and coaching my team.
it looks to me like he's saying that he's not being allowed to fulfill the other functions that he sees as vital (eg buying players etc) and so is "going to concentrate on training and coaching my team."

Look I tell you what the Liverpool not so Faithful I think need there cards marked.
G&T have come in they have backed Rafa in the Transfer Market with world class signings, Parry and Co secured finance for the club, G & T have secured approval for a new stadium which will put most stadiums around the world to shame,
Lets cut our club and all connected with it a little slack for a change
AND
G&H Have released a press statement pissing all over Rafa.
I know this is very cynical. and I apologise in advance
But, wouldn't it be in rafa's best interests to be sacked rather than walking out, if he is to leave?. Financially speaking, the yanks would have to pay out the rest of his contracts should he be sacked.
PS. I don't think this is the case, just thought I would throw it out there for the cynical amongst us.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
* After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs
Sorry, but this is a daft poll in my opinion. They are all professionals, they should be able to work together professionally to the mutual benefit of themselves and the club.
Rafa often throws his dummy out of the pram. How many times has Wenger or Fergie whinged about lack of funds? I can't think of one occasion where they have gone head to head with the owners yet Rafa seems to have done it the last 2 windows and now seem sto be positioning himself for another whinge this window.
So what's the reason? He's either genuinely unhappy and a grumpy fecker, OR they are all playing the game by pleading poverty to the media in order that they don't get fecked over in the transfer market.
I'm going with the latter reason, if we put out statements saying all is rosey and we're flush with cash, other teams will rob us and overcharge us.
I'd be amazed if Rafa didn't realise that his transfer kitty is dependant on getting through the CL group stages, it's obvious we can't commit until they know how much money is likely to be coming in. But Parry ought to be sounding out deals right now, finding out who is available for what. I'm sure these statements are designed at benefitting those negotiations.
But if you want to believe the media and fan the flames of this propaganda go right ahead with the poll. Personally I prefer to trust our manager and the owners to go about their business to the benefit of the club

Normally I wouldn't give two ****es what they write. This time I'm just a bit dissapointed because our esteemed owners have given the press all the ammunition that they need.
I've said it before. They're rentaquote. They do my head in. Every chance they get they're rushing to the press with some stupid dickhead quote.
For all his faults, Moores always kept his gob shut. Why can't these two muppets?
hmmm why release a satement like this? Something has happened obviously. I cant remember Rafa publically complaining though in the last few months?
I suppose we are not in the same financial league as Man U , Chelsea, and Arse no matter how many people dont like this because of the clubs great history its true and will remain true for years. $ will be tight with the stadium being built, there is a world wide credit squeeze, their finances are no doubt being squeezed too they have other businesses run. December 16 is 3 weeks away. I hope Rafa stays.
"I watched the Champions League quarter-finals and the way they crushed Arsenal. Only the greatest and the best can play such a match.

I'd suggest it's because it's not in their interests to keep quiet. They need to keep the supporters onside. Moores always had the club's best interests at heart even if it risked making him unpopular.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
I'm getting pissed off with this speculation every bloody transfer window. It's like a womans menstrual cycle with him only twice a year & just before the transfer window opens. He goes off on one sulking because he hasn't got £100 million or so to spend, if I were one of the yanks i'd call his bluff.

And what if he walked? Wouldn't seem so clever then would it?

They must know that if they set it up as them vs, Rafa they WILL lose. Of that there is no doubt.
