DIC wanted to sell us after 7 years IIRC.

    Moores rejected DIC.

    Still think the same?

To be fair both the Arabs and Yanks were unknown quantities. where as the Americans own various (currently unsuccessful) sport franchises in America, the Arabs have their horses, Golf circuits and motor racing.

As to the exit strategy, they did rebut that once the talks had gone tits up.
              We come not to play.

currently unsuccessful from a fans pov, but raking cash in for the owners, there's no saying the dubai group would be any different as long as they are in profit

maybe but they have other teams the one i'm thinking about more is the dallas stars, hoever i do think there is a difference between gillete and hicks, and we can't think about them both as having the same business ideas

i dont for one second believe that DIC would have had a crap stadium and an unbelievable team.

Liverpool FC would have been the premier media and brand building tool for DIC and the exposure that DIC would have received for this would have been phenomenal via our footballing stature, success and global profile. The media exposure they would have received for the takeover talks alone would have been valued at over £30m.

Spending £400m on a stadium is nothing to these guys because they want Dubai to be recognised as the best for everything and Liverpool FC stand for the best of the footballing world. Our heritage and history mean that only Real Madrid have a greater pedigree than ourselves and with all due respect a lot of their success came under Franco and he didnt exactly play fair with the other teams.

Liverpool FC would have been the jewel in the Dubai crown.

Yes there was the exit strategy document but every asset can eventually be sold on for a profit but as I have already pointed out why would they sell one of the top 3 clubs in the world when that club would have matched their business and marketing philosophies down to a T.

We messed up big time in this one and now the fans are coming to realise that G+T may not be the dream ticket afterall.
