I think Agger & Kewell will start with Babel on the right. Crouchy & Torres up front.

Probably. He can't afford to make any gambles at all before our two remaining CL games now. I wouldn't be surprised if Gerrard will start on the bench with Lucas playing instead.Originally posted by REDSCOUSER View PostQuestion is will rafa rest some players before the MORE important game v Porto ?Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Thing is I think RAFA wants the prem this season more than the CL, therefore, he might be stubborn and go against their words by fielding a strong 11 tomoz.Originally posted by SpeedyG View PostIsn't it ironic that the short-term monetary needs of the yanks force us to put the CL ahead of the EPL.

F**k resting players. With what's happened over the last 24hrs Rafa will need his best 11 to beat Newcastle as well as Porto. It really is backs to the wall sh!t now. The reds need to show togetherness and show these Yanks we mean business. I tell you what, if I were Newcastle I'd be ****ting myself because I get the feeling we will play like men possessed tomorrow.

I really hope you are right there DS. Actually, I think you may well be, although the question as to whether Rafa actually knows his best XI is one I'm not sure of. I suspect we'll see a pretty strong side tomorrow though, we need a result, and I think we'll get one.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

I'll be well pleased to see this side run out today. I hope that we slaughter them and Rafa can have a quiet word in big Sam's ear after the matchOriginally posted by AFII View Post

I'm not that fussed about Martins too be honest, if we can't keep him quiet we have no business challenging for the title. If our midfield has the upper hand he won't get any service either.Originally posted by AFII View Post
